Description
External bacterial eye infections can cause intense discomfort, characterized by painful grit, excessive tearing, swelling, and sticky yellow discharge. Ciprotab 0.3% Eye Drops offer a high-performance, clinically proven ophthalmic solution designed to halt aggressive pathogens directly on the eye’s surface. Formulated with Ciprofloxacin, a powerful second-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic, this sterile topical drop eliminates susceptible strains rapidly without the need for systemic oral medication, focusing its full therapeutic strength exactly where the infection resides.
The exceptional clinical speed of Ciprotab relies on its advanced bacterial replication disruption pathway:
-
Enzymatic Immobilization: The active Ciprofloxacin molecules target and bind tightly to two essential bacterial enzymes: DNA gyrase (topoisomerase II) and topoisomerase IV.
-
Replication Paralysis: By locking these enzymes, the medicine prevents the bacterial DNA from uncoiling, repairing, or replicating. This completely halts the structural growth of the pathogen, causing rapid bacterial death and allowing your eyes to return to a clean, comfortable, and clear state.
Key Benefits of Ciprotab 0.3% Eye Drops
-
Targeted Fluoroquinolone Power: Highly resilient against many pathogens that have developed resistance to traditional penicillin or aminoglycoside eye drops.
-
Corneal Ulcer Clearance: One of the few topical treatments clinically indicated and trusted for the intensive management of superficial corneal ulcers.
-
Broad Antimicrobial Spectrum: Eradicates a wide variety of ocular pathogens, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Haemophilus influenzae.
-
Sterile Micropore Packaging: Manufactured under rigorous international laboratory controls to ensure 100% sterile dosing, correct physiological pH matching, and minimal stinging.

Administration & Dosing Instructions: For topical ophthalmic use only (instillation into the eye). Ciprotab is a highly potent prescription antibiotic and must be used exactly as scheduled by your ophthalmologist or doctor. To prevent a severe microbial relapse or the development of drug-resistant ocular strains, you must finish the entire duration of your prescribed schedule—even if your eye looks and feels completely healed after a few applications. How to Apply: Wash your hands meticulously with soap and water before opening. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid to form a small pocket, look upward, and squeeze the exact number of drops prescribed into the eye. Close your eyelids gently and apply gentle pressure to the inside corner of the eye (near your nose) for 1 to 2 minutes to keep the solution on the eyeball. Contamination Warning: Do not allow the dropper tip to touch your eyeball, eyelashes, fingers, or any surface to keep the remaining solution perfectly sterile. Storage Care: Store the bottle upright in its original box at room temperature below 25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children. The 28-Day Discard Rule: Discard the bottle and any remaining liquid exactly 28 days after first snapping open the seal.
⚠️ Clinical Disclaimer & Patient Safety Warning
Critical Medical Warning: Ciprotab eye drops are strictly antibacterial. They will not treat viral eye conditions (such as epidemic viral conjunctivitis), fungal overgrowths, or mechanical/allergic eye irritations. Allergy Precaution: Do not use this medication if you have a known history of hypersensitivity or severe allergic reactions to Ciprofloxacin or any other fluoroquinolone antibiotic (such as Ofloxacin, Levofloxacin, or Moxifloxacin). Precipitate Notice: During intensive therapy (especially for corneal ulcers), a white crystalline precipitate may briefly appear in the lower portion of your eye. This is a localized buildup of the medication, is clinically harmless, and will resolve naturally as treatment continues. Contact Lens Rule: Do not wear contact lenses while you have an active bacterial eye infection. Additionally, the formula contains benzalkonium chloride, which can be absorbed by and ruin soft contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after application before inserting contact lenses if your doctor has cleared them for use. Temporary Vision Blurring: Your vision may become slightly blurry immediately after applying the drops. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your eyesight becomes completely sharp and clear.
